Sjoerdistan was once founded by Sjoerd Verbrugge and Stan Severin. The name is a playful wink to that beginning, a fun and imaginative land born out of collaboration and craft. Since then, Sjoerd has carried it forward as a dedicated craftsman with a wealth of experience in his field.

For Sjoerd, no mountain is too high, no jungle too dense, no desert too dry. He knows exactly where big ideas come to life, thanks to strong alliances in strategy and creativity. Just ask him, and he will guide you on your quest for that one big idea.

Sjoerd has worked for renowned agencies, both in permanent positions and as a freelancer, for agencies such as Saatchi, Roorda, Selmore, DEPT, Ogilvy, Dentsu and VML.

He has been honored with multiple awards, including SAN and ADCN accolades, a YouTube award that included a trip to New York to visit Google HQ, the Gouden Zandloper for lawyers campaign Wijn & Stael, and YoungDogs recognition early in his career.
